Renaissance Senior Living of Annandale Breaks Away from Winter with a “Spring Break” Community Event

Annandale, Va. (April 2026) — After a long winter, Renaissance Senior Living of Annandale was eager for some spring fun. With thoughtful planning, Nataly Hernandez Reyes, Life Enrichment Director at Renaissance, along with the entire team, worked to create a Miami-inspired spring break celebration for residents, providing a much-needed “vacation” after the cold winter.

The event was enjoyed by residents, families, friends, and staff in Renaissance’s beautiful courtyard, which has become a favorite gathering place for the community. The day was filled with refreshing drinks, lively vacation-themed games such as beach volleyball, and lots of laughter. The courtyard was the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine on a beautiful spring day. The Renaissance team showcased how purposeful and intentional planning can spark joy. It was a wonderful reminder that meaningful experiences—and a little sunshine—can make every day feel like a getaway.

“We are incredibly grateful to our team for bringing this event to life and creating such a joyful experience for our residents,” said Jonathan Fitch, Director of Sales and Marketing. “Seeing the smiles, laughter, and connection made this celebration truly special for us all.”
