Pamela Phillips - Executive Director
Pamela Phillips is the executive director of Renaissance of Annandale, a Premier Memory Care Community.
Phillips began her career as an educator in the Chesterfield County Schools and later became a successful local business owner in Fairfax County, where she taught music for 17 years. In 2012, following her mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s, she changed careers to senior care.
“My mother’s Alzheimer’s journey was a turning point in my life, so I am now committed to providing the same compassionate care for families and their loved ones as they make similar journeys,” Phillips said.
Among her many professional designations are Certified Dementia Practitioner, certification as a Virginia Post Facilitator, certification in Virtual Dementia Training, and certification in Palliative Care, Alzheimer’s Dementia and Other Cognitive Diseases in the state of Virginia. In April 2014, she was recognized as a Long-Term Care Administrator for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Phillips has spent the last five years overseeing a local 60-bed memory care facility as executive director.
Phillips earned a bachelor’s degree in music education K-12 from Longwood University of Farmville, Va. She is a graduate of Oakton High School in Vienna, Va., and loves tennis and musical theater.
